How are the kittens cared for from birth until they leave for their new homes? From Birth Kittens are fed their mother’s milk, supplemented by KMR kitten milk. We weigh them daily to ensure consistent, healthy growth. Around 4 Weeks They begin eating Royal Canin Mother & Babycat Mousse Canned Cat Food and start litter training. 6 Weeks They receive their first bath. Around 7 Weeks We begin introducing dry kitten food alongside wet food to transition them to a more varied diet. 8 Weeks First vet checkup, first vaccination, and first round of deworming. 11 Weeks Second vet checkup, second vaccination, and second round of deworming. 14 Weeks Third vaccination and a rabies shot, alongside another vet checkup. Two weeks before going to their new homes We schedule the spay/neuter surgery and implant a microchip. After the surgery, we check the surgical incision daily and clean the surrounding area. One week before going to their new homes We give them a second bath and take their graduation photos. *Spay/neuter and microchipping can be performed when the kittens are 3–4 months old or have reached 2.5 pounds in weight.
